2026 Falmouth Sports Club Championships

Last weekend we enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of squash with the finals of the 2026 Club Championships. A series of exciting junior and senior matches rounded off this year’s tournament:

Main Cup Final: Rory Brickell bt. Oscar Lambert (3-1)

Plate Final: Jon Hardwick bt. Matt Rogers (3-2)

Congratulations to the winners – Rory, claiming his 4th title (and first for 15 years!), and Jon, his first plate – and well played to runners-up Oscar and Matt.

As has now become tradition, the FSC Junior County Championship matches were sandwiched between the senior finals:

Performance Group Final: Max LT bt. Jack G (withdrawn)

Development Group Final: Toby G bt. Henry B (3-0)

Toby and Henry played an exciting final in the development group with some exciting rallys and lively points. Congratulations to Toby who emerged the stronger.

Unfortunately Jack had to withdraw before the Performance group final due to injury so Max retains the junior title unopposed. To entertain the crowd, Max played an exciting exhibition match against losing quarter-finalist and former plate winner Huw Gibbon.

We had a brilliant crowd, so a big thank you to everyone who came along to support the players and make it such a great day.
