Cornwall Summer League Tennis coming soon. Please read...

Who is interested in playing for one of The Falmouth Sports Club tennis teams in the Cornish leagues this summer?

We have 2 teams in both the ladies (div 1 & 2) and men's ( div 1 x 2) sections.

Interested in representing the club?

Please come to the team gathering to meet other players before Tuesday training. It's a good chance to meet others, give us an idea of who is available and ask any Q's on your mind.

Ladies Team meeting 5pm on Tuesday 24th Feb.

Men's Team meeting 5pm on Tuesday 3rd March.

There will also be a sheet on the notice board for anyone to sign and give us an idea of your interest in playing.

You can also let Brian Dilks, Des O'Reilly, Lou Misslebrook, Susie Scorse , Michelle Thomas know of your interest.

Some Q's answered.

Matches start around Easter and go until August. 14 plus home and away matches.

Teams are made of 4 players but we need big squads to play in all the matches.

Players can say they are only available for certain matches.

The captains need a list of players to call on. In an ideal season they will get 2 pairs who will be available to play in every fixture, but this never happens.

Putting you hand up does not guarantee a place, it gets you on the squad and gives your team options.

Any other Q feel free to give me a call on Des 07941572115.

Des O'Reilly
