Letter to members

Falmouth Sports Club is a member-owned and operated community amateur sports club. This means that it belongs to you, the members. As such, we all share a collective responsibility to ensure that the rules and regulations established by the Management Committee are followed.

These rules are in place not only to ensure the smooth operation of the club but also to protect our facilities, minimising unnecessary expenditure and maintenance costs.

We kindly remind all members to wear the correct footwear when using the facilities and to ensure that gates and doors are properly closed upon leaving.

Additionally, we would like to emphasise the following:

Unaccompanied Children: Members who allow children to use the club unaccompanied, leading to misuse of the facilities, risk having their membership terminated.

Entry Passes & Court Bookings: Sharing entry pass codes with non-members or booking courts on behalf of non-members is strictly prohibited which could result in membership termination.

Guest Access: Non-members who wish to use our facilities must book and pay the appropriate court fees at the bar before playing.

Please note that it is not the responsibility of staff to monitor court usage, particularly during busy or closed hours. Instead, it is the responsibility of every member to ensure that club rules are respected. If you suspect non-members are using the courts without proper booking, we ask that you take responsibility by addressing the issue or reporting it appropriately.

By working together and respecting these rules, we can ensure that Falmouth Sports Club remains a well-maintained and enjoyable environment for all members.
