Court Resurfacing Project and Court Closures start 18th August.

Dear Member,

Resurfacing of courts 1&2 will start on Monday 18th August. Due to the warm weather, curing after the macadam has been laid will take 3 weeks rather than 2.
Painting will take place after that as soon as the weather permits. Courts 1&2 will then be unplayable for a further 1 or 2 weeks to let it all dry, which takes us up to the end of September.
Until ALL this work is done courts 1&2 MUST NOT be walked on. No balls can be retrieved.
A fence will be put up on court 3, this plus not being able to recover balls that go onto court 2 means that court 3 is also out of action.
The lines on courts 3&4 are going to be repainted at some point over this period and will require both of those courts to be closed for a week.
We will keep you informed and with good weather these timelines should be shortened.

Court 4 is bookable for play but please cancel your booking if you find you cannot play so other members can use it.

Brian Dilks & Des O'Reilly.
