Tennis Court Resurfacing is on hold. Courts OPEN from Saturday

All 4 tennis courts will be open and available from 10am tomorrow, Saturday 15th March.
However, the nets on 1 &2 cannot be pulled to full tension for a further week as the new cement is not totally set. As you all know a net is 3'6" at the post and 3' in the centre. The net will be let down a couple more inches in the centre to reduce strain on the cement. And will be increased to it regular height in a week.
First Serve have redone the surround stones and put in new cement footers for the net posts but are unable to tarmac dues to a supply issue. They have suggested a delay of at least 4 weeks which would hamper our summer match schedule, members use and coaching. We have opted for a delay until September when the weather has cooled and the courts are a little less busy.
We will be in touch when we have an update.
