First Serve have been in contact and they are planning on painting courts 1 & 2 starting Tuesday 23rd September.
Due to Falmouth weather unpredictability I am not going to remove bookings of courts until next week when they actually start work.
Unfortunately, as with the tarmac laying, court 3 will also be out of action for this period leaving us with only court 4.
They have said we need to leave the courts unused for 2 full weeks to avoid smudging the paint. I seems a long time to dry but these are our instructions currently.
Finally, this will impact our Tennis Club Championships by having all matches on one court. On the upside this means the crowd can focus on one match alone.
I will be in touch when we have a definite day to start.
